Our Beginnings
In June of 2000, four best friends set out during a summer break after completing their first year of university to do something positive and enterprising with their summer break. After one long and hot summer day in Toronto gardening for a friend's mother - something was beginning to brew. It was then that the idea of providing sons for anyone who needed some physical work done around the house was born. Shortly after came the name Rent-a-Son. They then decided that Rent-a-Son would be a service that provided general labour help to perform all the work that a son should do around a home (minus all the whining and complaining).

Our Evolution
Over the years, word about our movers has continuously spread increasing demand for our moving services, year after year. Our customers essentially shaped the evolution of our business making moving our core service. But, we have not forgotten about where we came from. Which is why we still offer a lot of the same services that got us our start like gardening, heavy cleaning, furniture assembly and just about any labour job.
